Their range of gorgeous candles is both unique and eco friendly.
Each Sassy Kandles candle created uses 100% soy wax, an all natural, biodegradable product free of petrochemicals. But even better, each candle is presented in an original and unique sometimes even vintage container.
Each candle is hand poured by Susie, into an individually selected upcycled vessel, making each candle a one off creation in it’s own right. The only way to recreate each individual candle is to have it refilled, a service Susie is more than happy to offer at a reasonable price. Make your home smell pretty with one of these lovely upcycled pretties, available from A Plus Market, Saturday August 30.

For those in the know – you’re probably now as excited as me and those who haven’t heard about Hope & Harvest yet, here’s a little education.
Hope & Harvest are local designers based out of Melbourne/Ballarat who have been named by Madison Plus N.Y.C & Essence Magazine as one of the top plus size labels in the world. How amazing is that!
Just as exciting, Hope and Harvest have just been featured in Volup2 magazine, you can see it HERE, Pages 53 to 73.
I really like lots of Hope & Harvest’s designs as many have that cool BOHO feel while others have that little bit of allure (and some a lot) and all are available in sizes 14 to 26.
Harvest, one half of Hope & Harvest’s design team says,
“We get our ideas by thinking about what we want to wear. By looking at fashion that inspires us and using our experience to find a way to create pieces that really work for us”
I guess that’s also why the designs work for so many of us.
So now back to what’s happening at A Plus Market on Saturday May 3.
Hope & Harvest will be showcasing both new season and SALE stock with as I said before
UP TO 70% OFF RETAIL PRICES,
But wait there’s more. Become a Hope & Harvest VIP and get 20% off everything, this is in addition to the already reduced stuff. You’ll need to sign up before the market and take your VIP number along with you on market day.
Sign up as a Hope & Harvest VIP HERE.
AND by coming along to A Plus Market Ballarat you’ll get a chance to WIN a $100 Hope & Harvest Voucher!

A Plus Market isn’t just about awesome plus size fashion, there is also many other beautiful things ALL and ANY woman would love to have in her life.
Jewellery and accessories are high up that list, right?
A Plus Market has a gorgeous selection of artisan jewellery for you to drool over and hopefully then take home with you to launder.
The upcoming Frankston market sees some beautiful jewellery and accessories being showcased including those from Pom Pom Poppy.
Pom Pom Poppy is a quaint little handmade business founded and created by the lovely Chandika. Located in the leafy suburbs of Melbourne, Chandika draws her inspirations from all the beautiful things in life.
The result is a gorgeous range of ladies fabric flower accessories; everyday and bespoke pieces such as headbands, brooches, bib necklaces and hair pins. Each is made by hand using new, recycled and vintage fabrics and embellishments.
Chandika enjoys treasure hunting for unique and vintage fabrics and findings to create these beautiful one of kind handmade accessories. Working with different textures of fabrics, experimenting with different colour combinations Pom Pom Poppy has a stunning and ever expanding range.
Each month Pom Pom Poppy draw creates a new collection; anything from Shabby Chic, Alice in Wonderland or Balinese inspired – each piece is one of a kind. This month of course is Valentine’s. So how fitting that today I share these exquisite pieces with you.

One of the best things about an A Plus Market, bar the extraordinary amount of gorgeous plus size clothing available, is the awesome new friends one can make and why not start here with one of this weekends pre-loved stall holders, Aurelia.
Aurelia, a stay at home Mum who loves socialising, cooking and of course FASHION, has agreed to give us a glimpse into her life and style.
In a few words describe your fashion style?
My fashion style at the moment is very casual yet funky as I will always accessorise my outfits even if I am just wearing a pair of jeans. Fashion to me is about colour, I might be a plus size but that doesn’t mean I have to wear black!
Where do find your fashion inspiration?
My fashion inspiration started in the 80’s with Lind Evangelista. She was my icon as a teenage girl and she was such a stunning woman and is I loved the 80’s for their colour and I think I have kept that with me, albeit a bit toned down.
Thinking about what draws you to an article of clothing is it the cut or colour that first grabs your attention.
When looking for clothing I think that the colour will grab me at first. I tend to go for bright colours such as aqua, red and orange. Then of course the cut and style and the price plays a part too.
Where is your favourite place to shop?
I love to op shop as there is always a bargain that I can find, I love markets as well and going through so many different items of clothing is like Aladdin in his cave of treasure.
What’s your best summer fashion tip?
Best summer fashion tip moisturiser with SPF 15 bronzer and lip gloss will make you feel like you have just come back from a summer holiday a nice pair of sandals and maxi dress you will always look a million dollars.
Aurelia’s stall will be stocked full of evening gowns, tops, skirts pants and shoes, a lot of it NZ designer with items from City Chic and other High End fashions.
Come down to A Plus Market – Altona THIS SUNDAY and raid Aurelia’s wardrobe and help her out with a little extra Christmas spending money!
The Hobson Bay Leader has included a story about the upcoming A Plus Market in Altona. Thanks to the wonderful Marji & Jean for providing the gorgeous dresses that are modelled.

Big Blossom Pjs are all about feeling good, not only that, they look good too.
Designed for comfort, Big Blossom Pjs have a relaxed and floaty fit, perfect for those hot Melbourne nights. Though they aren’t just comfortable they also look devine.
Big Blossom Pjs make a range of pyjamas and nighties from size 10 to 24, all in high quality, soft fabrics. This night wear is gorgeous, some with a hint of vintage whilst others are classical. Colours range from soft feminine to bright and funky.
And even better still, these garments are versatile too, some can be worn as day or beach wear!
Lazy days or snuggly nights these cute Pjs will be your go to.
Treat yourself, your Mum, sister or friend with these beautiful locally designed and made Pjs.
Not available in shops or those big scary (especially at Christmas time) malls, you’ve got to come down to A Plus Market in Preston on Saturday November 30, to get some of these luxurious pyjamas. The extra bonus you can meet the makers, a gorgeous smiley, vibrant pair of sisters.
To top off the fabulous plus size outfits you will be buying at Box Hill, A Plus Market has some wonderful locally produced jewellery available too.
Local Made by Morton will be attending bringing her exclusive and unique range of handmade jewellery.
Each piece is crafted from 100% polymer clay and Australian woven cotton.
I can’t wait to see the pieces Made by Morton will be bringing for us all. They look fun, edgy and are definitely unique.
A further bonus is that Made by Morton will be contributing half their proceeds of all Made by Morton sales to Liptember.
Liptember is a month long charity initiative that raises funds and awareness for Women’s Mental Health.
Suniiitopaz hand crafts tribal and fusion hip belts,
a variety of adornments and accoutrements, street/dance wear, and other crafty items including smittens!
I am personally very intrigued to see some of these gorgeous creations in the flesh.
A Plus Market is pleased to present Parlour as a Box Hill stall holder.
Parlour attended our debut market last month in Preston and is one of only two repeating stalls!
However, the Parlour stall might as well be new, as is stocked full of all ‘new’ summer stock and has a new refined name to boot.
These beautiful skirts are either hand-made or reworked from pre-loved or vintage pieces. The skirts shown range from size 18 – 22.
Parlour is a local to the Whitehorse area, so come and support her on her home turf!
